A big thank you to David West from the Teign Angling and Conservation Association for presenting at our July online meeting. He presented on TACA’s exciting new project ‘Going, Going…? Time for Action’, which has recently won funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
This important project will focus on practical measures to conserve the rapidly declining migratory fish populations in the River Teign. The project will also protect and build on the cultural heritage around the river, working to capture stories from people who have spent time on the river for many decades, and inspire a new generation through theatre and arts projects.

The project team are also looking for a Project Officer. The job description and details (currently draft) can be found here along with the contact address for accessing the Invitation to Tender. The team are asking partners to share this opportunity within their networks where relevant.
